Guitarfish, any of an order Rhinobatiformes, have an elongated body, flattened forebody with pectoral fins fused to the sides of the head, the rearbody is shark like, with two dorsal fins and a well-developed caudal fin. They are a link between sharks and rays, and are named for their guitar shaped body. They are found in tropical and temperate waters, traveling in large schools.
